The future of insulation is here. Rockwool Premium Plus™ loose-fill insulation delivers a powerful combination of thermal efficiency, acoustic performance and fire protection—all in an environmentally responsible, high-performance insulation solution.

Manufactured from mineral fibre using sustainable and recycled materials, Rockwool Premium Plus™ is designed to meet the demands of today’s residential and commercial construction. Whether used in new construction or renovation projects, it provides dependable performance without compromising safety, comfort or sustainability.

Rockwool Premium Plus™ contains no asbestos, formaldehyde or chemical additives. Only a solvent-neutral mineral oil is applied as a de-dusting agent. The finished product is non-combustible, non-corrosive and odour-free, providing a safe and durable insulation solution.

For added installation flexibility, Rockwool Premium Plus™ can be combined with a water-based adhesive and sprayed directly into wall cavities without netting, creating a continuous, seamless thermal barrier. It can also be installed using netting without adhesive, depending on the requirements of the project.

Building to either the Net Zero or Passive House Standard helps you achieve a superbly well-insulated home with a tightly sealed building envelope. This is not only good for the environment but provides you with a lifetime of energy savings.

  • Net Zero (NZE or NZEr) homes & buildings use up to 80% less energy than ones built to the Ontario Building Code minimum requirements.
  • Passive House (Passivhaus) homes & buildings use up to 90% less energy than ones built to the Ontario Building Code minimum requirements.
